What does it mean to be a covenant school?

It means that we require at least one parent to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In addition, it is expected that families seeking enrollment at FCS regularly attend a local church, which upholds the evangelical tradition expressed in our faith statement.

K4-5th ~ 266 students
6th-8th ~ 204 students
9th-12th ~ 239 students

How many teachers do you have?

70 full-time teachers

What grades have teacher assistants?

K4 - 8th grades

Are all teachers certified?

All of our teachers are certified by either the State of Georgia or ACSI.

What percentage of teachers hold advanced degrees?

One third of our faculty holds a master’s or doctorate degree.

What are the school hours?

Elementary School: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm; 9:00 am late start each Wednesday
Middle School: 8:05 am - 3:10 pm; 9:05 am late start each Wednesday
High School – 8:00 am - 3:10 pm; 9:00 am late start each Wednesday

Are parents required to volunteer?

There is no requirement for parents to volunteer. However, there are multiple opportunities to be involved, especially through PTF and athletics.

Is everyone expected to contribute to the Annual Fund and Capital Campaign?

There is no expectation to contribute to either of these funds. However, we certainly hope that families will want to contribute as they are able.

Who makes up your school board?

The school board is made up of parent volunteers who have been nominated by the school body and have been approved by the board’s nominating committee.

How does the school board operate?

The school board follows Policy Governance. The board sets and oversees the policies of the school. The headmaster is responsible for the daily operations and decisions for the school and reports to the school board.

Do you have any programs for children with learning disabilities?

We offer Educational Support Service for students who may have a developing deficit, a diagnosed disability such as ADHD, a specific learning disability, or weaknesses in areas that interfere with learning. Various levels of Educational Support Services are available K4-12 grades for an additional fee.

Do you take I-20 students?

We are not prepared to accept foreign students requiring I-20 papers and a visa.

How do you communicate with parents?

Weekly communication is done through the Paladin E-Notes. The Headmaster’s Update is a monthly publication. The Paladin Charge magazine is published at the end of each semester. Grades and homework are posted on Renweb.

Do the students at FCS wear uniforms?

Is Fellowship accredited?

Yes, by the following associations:

  • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
  • Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
  • Georgia Accrediting Association (GAC)

Are books included in the tuition?

Yes. Students will also be given a list of additional supplies to be purchased before the first day of school.

Are entrance tests required for Fellowship?

Students entering kindergarten, pre-1st, and first-grade will take a Gesell assessment to assist with proper placement. Gesell assessments are administered on-site for a fee of $70.00. Students applying to other grades are not required to take an entrance exam. Standardized tests and report cards will be reviewed during the admissions process.
