As a student of athletics, I am constantly searching to gain knowledge in many different areas. I also understand that while I am a coach, it is equally important to learn from my players just as much as they learn from me. On the field, if all my players learn from me is how to block and tackle I will have failed in fulfilling my responsibility as a coach. I believe the correlation between life and sports allows for tremendous impact on a player's career on the field, and most importantly, off the field. |
