Fellowship Christian School’s elementary division is a place of wonder, excitement, and hands-on learning experiences. Our early childhood classroom teachers understand the unique needs of young learners. When you enter these classrooms you see and hear students and teachers completely immersed in thematic learning experiences. Children engage in learning through developmentally appropriate centers, small group instruction, and whole group instruction.

Our intermediate classrooms encourage independent thinking and working toward more abstract concepts and ideas. Teachers utilize an “I do, We do, You do”, approach to teaching and learning. First they model and explain. Then they allow for practice together in team, groups, or shared experiences. Finally, students are encouraged to work independently and innovatively on new concepts.

Walking through our hallways and entering into classrooms you will see loving, knowledgeable, nurturing teachers interacting with students in positive, supportive, and encouraging ways. You will hear adults and children learning and laughing together, you will hear biblical integration in every lesson, and you will walk away grateful for those who are pouring in to your child on a daily basis. We are so thankful for the opportunity to partner with you in training up your children in the way they should go.

Favorite Bible Verse:And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
What I Enjoy Most:As a teacher of young children, what I enjoy most about teaching is watching them make connections for the first time. Watching the lights come on. I have never had the experience of carrying a football into the end zone while the crowd is cheering wildly, but I can’t imagine that it feels more wonderful than watching a child learn to read!

Favorite Bible Verse:Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2
What I enjoy most:I enjoy sharing in the journey with students as they find clarity in who God created them to be.
