Paladin PAL Visit
Your child is invited to spend a half-day with a Paladin PAL (Peers as Leaders) to experience the FCS classroom “up-close and personal."
Grades 2 - 12
Thursdays,
October 8 – November 12 and
January 14 – May 13
Visits are not available April 8 (Spring Break)
A reservation is required with the Admissions Office for all visiting students before 3 P.M. on Tuesday. Please contact Susan Hickey, Admissions Assistant, by phone at 770-641-5572 or by email at susan.hickey@fcspaladins.org to schedule a visit.
What do I need to know before my child visits?
The following information will help the day go smoothly.
- Grades 2 – 5, please arrive at the Lower School office at 7:45 A.M.
- Grades 6 – 11, please arrive at the High School office at 7:45 A.M.
- Shadowing students will be paired with a Fellowship Peer As Leader and may participate in all class activities.
- Shadowing students should follow FCS dress code. You may review the dress code for each school by clicking one of the following links:
- Shadowing students on Thursdays for grades 6-11 will attend Chapel with the student body; please do not wear shorts or jeans on Thursday. For more information, please consult the specific dress code for middle school or high school found above.
- Tennis shoes are recommended for grades 2–8. Shadowing students in grades 4–8 may bring athletic shorts and t-shirt for PE if desired.
- Weather permitting, 2nd grade will go outside for recess. Please wear appropriate shoes and/or jackets.
- Bring a book to read, notebook, pencil and pens.
- Please bring your own lunch and a water bottle. A “peanut free” table is available in the Elementary School lunchroom for severe food allergies. Shadowing students in grades 2-5 may also bring a healthy morning snack.
- Shadowing students for grades 2-5 can be picked up in the elementary school office at 11:50
- Shadowing students for grades 6-8 can be picked up in the high school office at 12:10
- Shadowing students for grades 9-11 can be picked up in the high school office at 12:55. Visiting high school students who are driving themselves to and from campus are asked to check-out in the High School office after lunch.
