The mission of Fellowship Christian School’s Fine Arts is to awaken, nurture, and affirm the artisan soul within every student through creative expression. We embrace the arts as an essential element of a well-rounded education. “We are both works of art, and artists at work.” -Erwin Raphael McManus, The Artisan Soul.

Our extensive, K-12 award-winning program includes studies in broadcasting, music, music theory/composition, performing arts, and visual arts (both traditional and digital).

For those who have a dream and desire to go deeper at the high school level, we offer the Artisan Diploma Track. This deeper exploration and exposure prepares students, through creating excellent works of art, to be a living example and witness of Jesus Christ in the Arts community and beyond.

“For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.” –Ephesians 2:10 RSV

Fellowship Community:

Did you know that every student who graduates from Fellowship has taken at least one art class? Many of our students find that art class is a place where they can relax, create, and grow. All of our art teachers are either current professionals in their respective disciplines, or they have been at some point in their career. Many of our students have achieved the highest scholastic honor in their disciplines and we have AP level students who have earned the highest score possible on their portfolios. FCS has produced graduates who are now thriving in their artistic endeavors. All of this is made possible through the continued support of our Artisan community.

The Fine Arts Alliance (FAA) was created to support all of the arts programs at FCS. If you will, it is the equivalent of the Booster Club for athletics. The FAA serves the arts community by financially supplementing the arts program, providing equipment and other needed items that are not covered by our operating budget. They host and promote arts awareness through the annual Art Walk, and leverage relationships and connections to enrich all of our programs and bring new opportunities to our students. The FAA plays a vital role in the advancement of the arts at FCS, an area that is receiving an intentional focus through the Artisan Diploma Track.

As the Director of Arts, I strongly encourage you to consider joining this parent led organization. Your involvement will significantly contribute to the growth of our K4-12th grade programs. Joining is simple, just go to: http://www.fellowshipchristianschool.org/arts/fine-arts-alliance

We have a few FAA sponsored events upcoming that you may be interested in attending. On Wednesday, December 7th, our FCS Choral Singers will host "A Night in Christmas Town" at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Bible Church Auditorium. All families are welcome to attend this festive event. Light refreshments will be served.

On Wednesday, December 14th, our Elementary School will host their Christmas Concert at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Bible Church Auditorium. Come get into the Christmas spirit with our youngest carolers!
