As a teacher of young children, what I enjoy most about teaching is watching them make connections for the first time. Watching the lights come on. I have never had the experience of carrying a football into the end zone while the crowd is cheering wildly, but I can’t imagine that it feels more wonderful than watching a child learn to read! |
