Coaching Experience: 14 years, 1 year at FCS
Accomplishments: GHSA playoffs 2006-2009
Class A State Finalist - 2009
Coaching Philosophy: The goal of a coach should be to help players and fellow coaches surpass their potential. By focusing on the fine details rather than the final result, I have found athletes can excel in their positions which leads to significant results. As a student of athletics, I am constantly searching to gain knowledge in many different areas. I also understand that while I am the coach, it is equally important to learn from my players just as much as they learn from me. On the field, if all my players learn from me is how to block and tackle I will have failed in fulfilling my responsibility as a coach. I believe the correlation between life and sports allows for coaches to have a tremendous impact on the players' careers on the field and most importantly off the field. Do right and the little things will lead to big things.

Favorite Bible Verse: “Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.” Psalms 133:1-2
What I enjoy most: In life, I enjoy touching people by helping them. Whether it be a youngster hit the baseball for the first time or to get that first job, I feel that if we can touch someone’s life in a small way, then ours will be blessed beyond comprehension.
