Chapels

Weekly chapels, held on Thursday mornings at 8:10 a.m., are another way in which students are given the opportunity to live out their beliefs. This time of praise, worship and devotion led by our student worship team allows for our students to come together as a body in the presence of the Lord. Attendance at chapel is required. The same excused/unexcused attendance and tardy policies apply to chapel as to class attendance. Parents are welcomed at chapel. “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

Special guest speakers often share their hearts and testimonies with our high school students. From time to time, an audio recording of their talk may be posted here for you to enjoy. Follow the links below to listen to any of these guest speakers.

Advisor Groups

Our students meet twice a week in a forum we call advisor groups.  Each student is assigned to an advisor group which is led by a member of our faculty or administration.  Today’s culture is busy and overwhelming; FCS developed advisor groups to facilitate an occasion for our faculty, administration and students to get to know each other on a personal level.  This small group forum creates an opportunity for our students to share how God is working in their lives and create teachable moments for the faculty and administration  to intentionally speak into their lives and influence real life situations.  Advisor groups allow students to build a sense of community, gain the opportunity to be transparent, share their hearts, and grow in Christ.

High School Retreat at Sharptop Cove

Our high school students embark on a fall retreat in October each year. Students travel by bus to Sharptop Cove in Jasper, GA where they have a time of devotion, study, and high adventure fun with other students, faculty, and administration. Guest speakers and musical artists often join in the retreat atmosphere. To see what Sharptop Cove is all about, click here.
