The goal of a coach should be to help players and fellow coaches surpass their potential. By focusing on the fine details rather than the final result, I have found athletes can excel which leads to significant results. As a student of athletics, I am constantly searching to gain knowledge in many different areas. I also understand that while I am the coach, it is equally important to learn from my players just as much as they learn from me. I believe the correlation between life and sports allows for coaches to have a tremendous impact on the players' careers during competition and most importantly off the field. Do right and the little things will lead to big things. |
