| Favorite Bible Verse: |
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16 |
| What I enjoy most: |
I enjoy the students, and the opportunity that I have to interact with them. Middle school students are so much fun! They are energetic and full of excitement about life and eager to learn more about themselves and their world. It is an honor to be able to play a part in their learning and discovery about who they are in Christ. I count it a privilege and a responsibility to partner with the parents to "train them up in the way they should go so that when they are old they will not depart from it”. Proverbs 22:6. |

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 |
| What I enjoy most: |
I enjoy the opportunity to work with young people and have an impact on their lives. Your work day is never the same and I enjoy the energy and enthusiasm they bring to their days and mine. The biggest thing I would like a student to learn from me is to love Jesus and to do their very best in all things. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40 |
| What I enjoy most: |
I enjoy the wonderful spirit of the students at Fellowship. The families at Fellowship are so generous and thoughtful. It is a joy to teach young people who walk out of class each day saying thank you for teaching them that day. My family has been blessed by so many who were caring and thoughtful with the birth of John in April 2011. I look forward to John growing up and being just like so many of the students in my classroom. |

| Favorite Bible Verse: |
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." Romans 10:9-11 |
| What I enjoy most: |
I enjoy watching students learn and grow, not just in the short school year that I have them, but throughout their careers. Children - mine and yours - are God's gift to us. It is our responsibility to mold them in His image and give them back to the world, ready to do His will. Teaching and molding kids is the highest calling outside the church, and one that I look forward to each and every day. |

For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 |
| What I enjoy most: |
The most rewarding part of teaching to me is watching students get excited about science and see God’s fingerprints in all of creation. My desire is that students would know without a doubt that He exists and science shouts as a testimony of His glory. Second, I believe that education is the vehicle that equips students with the knowledge and discipline they need to fulfill their own calling and purpose for which God planned in advance. Middle school is about students taking ownership of their learning so that they can be ready for that calling. |
