Elementary Sports

The Elementary School offers an intramural program for grades Pre-K through 5th Grade. These students will be assigned to a team with their peers. This program is designed to allow students the opportunity to gain experience in the sport of the season and to work on team-building skills. During the school year, various sports are offered.

This program is a safe environment to learn, develop skills, compete, and most of all, have fun.

Background Check

Because participation in our sports program is open to the community, children from over 23 different schools participate. Teams are coached by parent volunteers.

All practices and games are located on the school campus. Basketball holds 1 practice prior to the game time on Saturdays. Soccer and Baseball hold 1 practice during the week and 1 game on Saturday.

Team Moms

We would not have a smooth running program with out the tireless help of our Team Moms. Please contact our Team Mom Coordinator, Rebecca Latora, if you would like to volunteer.

Track Meet

FCS participates in the annual Perimeter School Track Meet each spring; the meet is a highlight for those athletes who qualify to compete.

Athletic Clubs

G.I.R.L.S. stands for Girls Into Running who Love our Savior and is for girls in 3rd through 5th grade. This program is not just about running as it also teaches our daughters that they are each unique and special in the way God made them.

Through a Biblical based curriculum, girls will learn how to respect themselves as well as others, and at the same time become fitness conscious. This is a 10 week program that will end with all girls and coaches running a local 5k together. A desire to run or a passion for running is not required.

Men In Training

M.I.T.’s mission is to bring young men closer to Christ while spending time with male role models who will share the Word of God and their love of running.

Each Monday after dismissal, we will meet in the main foyer area for a time of devotion and a quick snack, then we will head out to the Cross Country trail to train for a 5K race. This is a great opportunity for your son to fellowship with friends, cross-train for other sports and prepare for the middle-school cross country team.Who: 4th and 5th Grade Boys
