11/20/2020 Friday Reflections

Dear Fellowship Family,

As we begin Thanksgiving Break, I would like to take a moment to express how thankful I am for this amazing community. In spite of the uncertainty and challenges we have faced as a result of living through a pandemic, your partnership has been the bright spot in all of this.

To our parents, thank you for all that you have been doing to ensure that this year is a success. From your daily health checks, to facilitating Remote Learning, to finding creative ways to engage while honoring our new protocols, your steadfast support has meant more than you can possibly understand. Thank you for trusting us to not only educate your children, but to help mold their hearts for Christ.

To our faculty and staff, thank you for your commitment and courage. You have been stretched beyond measure and have responded with grace and an openness to embrace all challenges, trusting that God will equip you. You have been an example to us all and I thank you for all you are doing to educate and mold students who live with purpose and lead with intent for God’s glory alone.

As a community, we have so much to be thankful for. Let us remember the words of Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Paul tells us that it is God’s will for us to be joyful, prayerful, and thankful. I pray that you all remain healthy this Thanksgiving and that your time is filled with joy, thankfulness, and some quiet time with your Heavenly Father.

Sincerely,

Dr. Kathryn M. Teston
