A Fellowship Christian School Blog
Dear Fellowship Families,
As you return to school next week, you may notice several new faculty and staff members around campus. I am so humbled and thankful that these incredible Christ followers have chosen to share their gifts with our community, and I am excited to see how God will use them for His glory.
I sat down with several of our new staff members, and through a series of videos, I'm excited to introduce them to our Fellowship family. Today, I would like to introduce you to our new Head of Academic Collaboration and Culture, Joel Hazard.
While Joel most recently served as Head of Upper School at Fort Bend Christian School (FBCA) in Sugar Land, Texas, I was fortunate to meet Joel many years ago while we was working nearby at Mount Paran Christian School. During his burgeoning career in education, Joel has led efforts to strengthen educational environments that combined both faith and intellect, as well as cultivated learning environments that fostered intellectual risk-taking, transformative thinking, and academic confidence.
I enjoyed my wonderful conversation with Joel, and I hope you will as well as he shares his story and what he hopes to accomplish in his role at Fellowship. I look forward to seeing the impact Joel will have on our students and community.
As you see Joel and all of our new faculty and staff members on campus next week, I hope you will warmly welcome them to the Fellowship family. I ask that you pray over each of them as they endeavor to help us fulfill our vision of inspiring students who live with purpose and lead with intent for God’s glory alone.
In Him,
Dr. Kathryn M. Teston
Head of School
