Dear Paladin Athletic Booster Club Members,

I hope you all have had a great summer!  I know that we have and that it has been a blessing.  I also know that the Paladin Athletes and Coach’s have been hard at work all summer and I can’t wait to see the fruit of all that hard work play off in they gym, on the court, trail and field this fall.  Please come out and support the student athletes as school kicks off in just a few weeks.  This fall marks my ninth year on the Board of the Paladin Athletic Booster Club.  When I joined the board our oldest son was a freshmen in high school and now he’s out of college and married (to an FCS classmate).  It has been a joy to serve the school in this capacity and I encourage every parent to get involved in an area that they are passionate about.

For the last three years I’ve served as President of the Paladin Athletic this fall I’ll be transitioning to the role of Immediate Past President.  I am so excited that Ron Haigler has been led to move into the position of President to lead the board moving forward.  I look forward to continuing to serve and to be an asset to Ron and the entire Booster Club.  Over the past several years the Booster Club has been able to support the Athletic Budget with $140,000 of incremental funding to allow Athletic Director David Lowery to invest in the very best coaches available.  Seeing the investment these coaches make into the lives of our kids is truly a blessing.  In addition we’ve been able to support the phase 1 of the stadium project with over $135,000 of funding, funding to cover the expenses of various travel expenses for many of the teams as they make the playoffs, new uniforms, various equipment to maintain the athletic fields.  The list goes on but let me just say thank you for partnering with the Paladin Athletic Booster Club, you have allowed us to serve the student athletes in ways that support and bless them.

Lastly, let me say thank you to the best Athletic Director in the State of Georgia, David Lowery. You have been a blessing to work with and I look forward to continuing to support your efforts on behalf of Fellowship Christian School.

Go Paladins!

Dear Paladin Athletic Booster Club Members,

I hope you all have had a great winter.  The spring sports are up and running with track and field, tennis and golf, along with the soccer, lacrosse, and baseball teams, who have notched wins in their opening games.

The Paladin Athletic Booster Club has been busy as well.  Just before the Christmas break, the PABC board approved funding for Phase 1 “B” of the Paladin Athletic Complex Campaign.  The following was approved:

How can you help?  Please come out and participate in the Annual Fundraiser at Top Golf on March 22. We’ll begin at 9am and be completed by 1pm.  Please come out for a great time of fun and fellowship!

Please register today for the Annual Spring Fundraiser at Top Golf

There is one other important bit of news that I’d like to relay to you.  For much of the last year, one of my areas of focus has been planning for the leadership succession of the Paladin Athletic Booster Club Board of Directors.  Last week at our January board meeting, Ron Haigler was unanimously approved as the next Paladin Athletic Booster Club Board President.  I will continue to serve as President through the remainder of the current school year and then transition into the role of Immediate Past President for the 2019-2020 school year to assist Ron in his transition.  I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement that Ron will continue his service at Fellowship Christian school in this new capacity.

Go Paladins!

Dear Paladin Athletic Booster Club Members,
Welcome back!
I’m sure you’ve heard that a few times by now!  I hope you’ll be as excited when you drive on Fellowship’s campus as I am.  The stadium at Bob Lord Field is 99% done and the new turf is ready!

What a summer it’s been. I have to say it has been hard for me to stay away, and my wife wonders why I’ve found so many random reasons to drive by school this summer.  Athletic Director David Lowery has been after it all summer, preparing a place for our kids to practice and compete and a venue from which we can cheer on our Paladins, large and small.

The Paladin Athletic Booster Club has been busy, preparing for the launch of the new school year too. We’ve got new spirit wear, new membership opportunities and a plenty of chances for you to join with us in service to our students, our coaches, our Paladins.  I have the privilege of serving as President of the PABC but truly this is a team effort.  If you are looking for a place to plug in, to be engaged at your school please reach out to us, we are all Paladins!

I hope to see you Friday August 10th at the “Back to School Bash” and the Booster Club BBQ dinner.

Go Paladins!

Dear Paladin Athletic Booster Club Members,
As June comes to a close and we begin readying ourselves for all of the back to school activities I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the year and to ask for your help.
As with all organizations, the PABC Board of Directors experiences changes as God moves new families to FCS and as families have children graduate and move on to other chapters. For 2018-2019, we hope to add some new board members to serve with us. We have some specific needs in the areas of fund raising and concessions. If you have a vision for fund raising or a passion for delivering a great customer experience (note: concessions support is about planning what we provide/serve and how it’s priced) we would really appreciate a chance to talk with you. If you have a general interest to serve on the board please reach out to me and I’d be happy to discuss how the board functions.
It has been a tremendous year for our student athletes and for the Paladin Athletic Booster Club (PABC). I am thankful and humbled by your support and for the things that we together have been able to accomplish! Here are just a few:
New Weight Equipment for Paladin Center > $37,000
Shooting Machines for Basketball > $ 13,000
Windscreen for Baseball/Winchester Field > $ 11,000
Blocking & Tackling Equipment for Football > $ 9,500
Uniforms for Cross Country > $ 3,000
Ice Maker in High School Gym 1 > $ 3,000
Donation to Phase I of the Stadium Project > $135,000

We pray that these investments will serve our students, coaches and school in such a way that our Lord and Savior, Jesus, is glorified and that our teams are best equipped to compete to their maximum potential and for God’s glory.

On behalf of the PABC Board of Directors, thank you for supporting the PABC and thus enabling us to serve, supply and support our students, coaches and Fellowship Christian School.
