Faith Formation

Faith Formation serves as the core essence that distinguishes Fellowship Christian School. Our programs are meticulously crafted to immerse students in a Christ-centered environment, offering them profound encounters with sound teachings, inspiring worship experiences, and practical applications for their lives.

In the spirit of Psalm 34, where David encourages us to "taste and see that the Lord is good," we take very seriously every opportunity that we have as a school to provide incredible moments for students to participate in what God is doing in and around them. One way that we provide this is through age-appropriate weekly Chapel gatherings, held every Thursday within each school division. These gatherings feature a blend of large and small group biblical teachings to meet the Spiritual needs of each and every student.

Beyond our weekly Chapel meetings, each division allocates dedicated time throughout the year to encourage Spiritual development in other unique ways. Our Elementary School students participate in what we call Winterfest, a two-day in-school retreat, while Middle School and High School students get to experience transformative overnight spiritual retreats at Camp Woodlands and SharpTop Cove, respectively. Our prayer and desire is that every student, through their time at Fellowship, will take steps toward Jesus.

I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and I know this very well. Psalm 139:14

Chapel

Chapels

Weekly chapels provide our students with a unique platform to actively express their faith. This dedicated time, infused praise, worship, and profound devotion, is guided by both internal and external speakers and bands. Attendance at chapel is not merely encouraged; it is a cherished requirement that underscores our commitment to nurturing spiritual growth. We also extend a warm welcome to parents, inviting them to join in the enriching chapel experience, fostering a sense of unity within our school community.

Bible Class

Bible Class

What truly makes Fellowship unique and incredibly special is that our students, from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade will hear the Truth of God’s Word in their ears on a daily basis.  The way that we do that is through required Bible classes.  In elementary grades, each homeroom teacher teaches a Bible lesson that is engaging and age-appropriate.  When students reach 6th grade, every grade level from then-on will be led by a Bible instructor that leads and teaches that entire grade in Biblical education and literacy.  If your child attends Fellowship from 6th-8th grade, they will receive an overview and gain a general understanding of the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.

If your child attends Fellowship through high school, these are the classes that they will attend.

Missions

Another way that we at Fellowship want to provide opportunities to be a part of what God is doing around the world is to partner with organizations that are following God’s lead as they serve and love the people of God.  We provide our high school students with 4 International missions opportunities in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Cuba, and Kenya.  We also partner with domestic organizations like Kidz2Leaders and Atlanta Mission as a way of loving our “Jerusalem” the way Jesus directed.  These domestic projects also allow for our younger grades to begin to see how God’s love is for all.
