Fellowship Grad Enjoys Learning and Traveling Abroad
Class of 2012 graduate Hayley Nunnally attends Georgia Tech where she is pursuing an engineering degree. In addition to the rigors that go along with that, her academic pursuits also include enrollment in the International Plan, a program that works in tandem with the academic curriculum. Currently studying abroad in Quebec, Canada, Hayley attends four classes at the Laval University and then takes time to enjoy the local community, culture, and its activities. Next semester she will complete her study abroad requirements while studying in Paris and Nice, France. Upon completion of the International Plan program, she will receive a special designation on her diploma, a minor in French, and a competency in language designation. Hayley is pictured outside the university in the old town of Quebec. (Hayley is the daughter of Lorie and Hugh Nunnally.)
Fellowship Alumni Madi Borst is a UGA Amazing Student
Each week, the UGA website highlights a current student in a feature called "Amazing Students". This week, the University of Georgia is highlighting 2011 FCS graduate, Madison Borst. Being named as an Amazing Student has become a tremendous honor at UGA and a highly sought after achievement among the students. According to Associate Senior Director Patrick Winter, "With only so many weeks in a year and more than 35,000 students, only the most accomplished UGA undergraduates are selected. FCS Grads Celebrate at Toomer's Corners
Class of 2012 grads Caroline Tribble, Shelby Griffin, Hannah Rolader, Alli Thomas, and Hallie Pearman cheered the Auburn Tigers to victory over the University of Georgia on the Plains, and then made their way to Toomer's Corners to join in the post game victory celebration.
Emily Sonnett On All-ACC Women's Soccer Team
Class of 2012 grad Emily Sonnett is one of 6 players from the University of Virginia named to the 2013 All-ACC Women's Soccer Teams. The top-ranked Virginia women's soccer team led all ACC teams with 3 first team selections. Read more...

FCS Grad Among Owners of Nashville Soccer Team
Fellowship graduate Nolan Pittman, who played NCAA Division I Soccer at Belmont University, is among the owners of the Nashville Atlas FC. The Nashville club has recently joined the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) as an expansion team. The Atlas FC will begin play in the Southeast Conference of the South Region in 2014. Alumni Update: Michael Ross, Class of 2006
Michael Ross, FCS Class of 2006, has partnered with Andrew Morgan in a film production company named Untold. Their first short film "Here For Now" was written, directed, and produced for a Roswell ministry and premiered in 2012. The creative duo recently celebrated the premier of their first full length documentary entitled "After The End", a documentary about loss, love, and the journey that makes us human. Joining Ross on the project was fellow FCS grad Michael Flowe. Flowe performed all the sound mixing and design for the film. View trailer: http://vimeo.com/65854009.
The film has been picked up by Cine Libre, one of the best documentary distribution companies in Los Angeles, an indication that the industry has recognized the quality of this production. The film, "After The End" brings hope and love to a very difficult time by telling a unique story about the lives and loves it documents.
FCS Alumni Kaleigh Carpenter
It didn't take long for Berry College freshman and Fellowship alumni Kaleigh Carpenter to make an impact. Kaleigh, an education major, has enjoyed success on and off the court, impressing her coach and teammates along the way. Carpenter has posted a 12-4 record at #4 singles, along with an 11-5 record on Berry's #2 doubles team. FCS Alumni Emily Sonnett
Class of 2012 graduate Emily Sonnett (twin sister of Emma Sonnett, below) has continued to play stellar soccer at the University of Virginia and beyond. Sonnett appeared in all 24 games in the fall, and started in 16. Her first career goal vs. Boston College was a game-winner. In addition, she earned All-ACC Freshmen Team recognition and All-Tournament Team honors.
Outside of UVA, Emily has been invited to the U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team camp. The team will come together for a training camp from April 13-20 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. Emily Sonnett is the daughter of Bill and Jane Sonnett of Marietta, GA.
FCS Alumni Emma Sonnett
University of Georgia freshman Emma Sonnett (twin sister of Emily Sonnett, above) has likewise enjoyed success at the collegiate level. For the 2012 season, Emma played in 15 games with two starts, scoring her first career goal on a free kick vs. SDSU. She finished the season with two points, eight shots, one on goal. Emma's parents report that her academic interests are very much toward Animal and Wildlife Sciences. Emma Sonnett is the daughter of Bill and Jane Sonnett of Marietta, GA.
FCS Alumni Witt CarlisleWitt Carlisle has been a busy man since his days at Fellowship. The FCS class of 2009 graduate was recently honored as Academic All Conference at Georgia Southern University. Carlisle, a redshirt junior, attends Georgia Southern on Hope and soccer scholarships. He serves on the Student Athletic Advisory Board and as a volunteer youth soccer coach (U-8) for Bulloch County Parks and Recreation.
Georgia Southern recently unveiled a new athletic banner (pictured right) near Hanner Hall on which Witt's image was chosen to represent the men's soccer team . Click image for a larger view.
