A Covenantal Commitment
As a Christian community, Fellowship Christian School distinguishes itself by its covenantal commitments with participating families and staff members and by its dedication to fostering those ideals and standards that are consistent with a biblical worldview. The desire to be a God-honoring community requires mutual understanding, and neither the difficulty of the task nor the imperfection of the end result should deter us from establishing reasonable expectations of community participants. At Fellowship it is our desire to continue in our effort to expand community connections that strengthen the diversity and unity of families, faculty, and staff who become part of the school community.
Diversity is God's Idea
God’s Word directly addresses diversity among His creation and describes heaven as a gathering of His children from “every nation, tribe, and tongue” (Revelation 7:9). God also created men and women in His image. Scripture shows that every race, nation, and ethnicity will be included in His Kingdom for those who have responded to God’s invitation to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We believe that it is unquestionably God’s plan and God-honoring for Fellowship’s ethnic, racial, and socio-economic makeup, to as much as possible, reflect our surrounding community and, more importantly, God’s creation. As such, we are committed to leading the school on an intentional path toward more diversity in a mission-appropriate, God-honoring way.
