Encouraging a Lifestyle of Service

The GO Service Program is our high school program that prioritizes serving others throughout their school year. This is something Christ has called us to as believers and it is ultimately our way to honor Christ, by serving his creation, which he loves. GO and let your light shine so that they may see your good works. Matthew 5:16 

Because of this commitment, Students are required to serve 20 hours in the community each school year that they are enrolled in the high school, culminating in 80 total hours of service for a student who has been enrolled freshmen to senior year. Students often go well above these required hours, with upwards for 800+ service hours over the course of their time at Fellowship.

Through Fellowship’s Winterim program, high school students engage in two weeks of in-depth learning experiences both on and off campus. Our goal for Winterim is that students be given time to gain valuable insights to further develop their interests and explore their potential as image-bearers of Christ. The commitment of Fellowship’s faculty and parents as well as our wider community of mentors and neighbors make Winterim possible as our students explore topics and subjects not often encountered in a typical school curriculum. One of those experiences is a 1-day Service project day where students engage with over 15 organizations around our community and provide over 8,000 individual student service hours.

Students can choose to participate in a local or international mission trip that is being offered in Middle or High School.

Every year our Middle and High School volunteer for 2-days with Operation Christmas Child, through Samaritan's Purse. Samaritan’s Purse has collected shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children around the world. Since 1993, more than 220 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.

As the largest, independent, educational youth organization in America, National Beta emphasizes our four pillars by providing opportunities and experiences to impact our members, their schools, and communities across the world. This opportunity is for high school students.
