two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12
Chapels
Weekly chapels, held on Wednesday mornings, are another way in which students are given the opportunity to live out their beliefs. This time of praise, worship and devotion led by our student worship team allows for our students to come together as a body in the presence of the Lord. Attendance at chapel is required. The same excused/unexcused attendance and tardy policies apply to chapel as to class attendance. Parents are welcomed at chapel.
High School Retreat at Sharptop Cove
Our high school students embark on a fall retreat in September of each year. Students travel by bus to Sharptop Cove in Jasper, GA where they have a time of devotion, study, and high adventure fun with other students, faculty, and administration. Guest speakers and musical artists often join in the retreat atmosphere.
CAMP HIGHLAND
Our Middle School retreat is a unique experience that happens early in the school year. We strategically plan this retreat to maximize the students experience at Camp Highland in Ellijay. Each grade has 24 hours at camp by themselves with our Staff and Camp’s Staff. They experience worship, Messages, team building, Fun, Water activities, and much more as we pour into them and teach them scriptures that are learned through outdoor experiences at Camp Highland.
Our 8th graders get to spend an extra day at camp and we allow them to have a special day that only the 8th grade gets to experience.
