Hagearty Hopes to Make Regular-Season Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Debut this Fall

Fellowship Christian School graduate Bailey Hagearty is seeking her first regular-season action with the Presbyterian College’s NCAA Division I Acrobatics and Tumbling tea this season.

She was redshirted for the 2025-26 season, her first year in college.

“I participated in our showcase in November [2025],” she said. “Every sport has it. It’s a practice session. It’s big for crowd interaction, but you are not competing.”

Presbyterian College’s competitions are held between January to April, and the team practices.

Acrobatics and tumbling was a natural transition for Hagerty, who graduated from FCS in 2025.

“Until sophomore year I trained and competed in gymnastics,” she said. “I reached level 10 when I stopped. This is exactly what I wanted to do. I loved floor exercise in gymnastics but not vault or balance beam. I did not want to continue gymnastics.”

But fellow FCS graduate Julianna Jaroszewski introduced Hagearty to acrobatics and tumbling.

“She invited me to try out for Georgia Allstars Notorious in our junior year,” she said. “I made it, and we were really successful. I also cheered on the sideliners [at FCS for football] my senior year. But I did not want to cheer in college, so acro is perfect for me.”

Allstars Notorious is an elite Level 6 All Star cheerleading team based out of the Georgia Allstars Gym in Roswell.

“I wound up with like 30 offers [to participate in acrobatics and tumbling], but in tumbling you don’t have to commit too early,” Hagearty said. “I kept working hard and decided on coming here. Academics are important to me, and I wanted to find a place to balance school, acro and work. There isn’t a scholarship, so I am working to pay for college. I really wanted that balance.”

Hagearty has two majors at PC – history/public health and prelaw.

Hagearty was named to the 2026 NCATA Academic Honor Roll.
