FCS Fights Hard, Comes Up Short at BT

The fifth- and sixth-grade football team from Fellowship Christian School battled hard but suffered a road loss on Oct. 4.

The Paladins came up a little short, 20-0, to Blessed Trinity on the road.

“The kids played hard,” head coach Eric Jahnke said. “We did well running the ball against a good defense.”

Despite the loss, Fellowship owns a 5-2 record.

Streak Snapped: Paladins Suffer First Loss of Season

The fifth- and sixth-grade football team from Fellowship Christian School lost for the first time this season on Sept. 27.

The previously unbeaten Paladins lost 36-20 to King’s Ridge Christian School at Bob Lord Field. It ended FCS’ five-game win streak.

“We had a lot of mistakes in the first half, played better in the second half but it wasn't enough,” head coach Eric Jahnke said. “A good learning experience, we will be back at it against BT next week.”

The Paladins own a 5-1 record despite the loss.
