FCS Edged by Providence in Region Game
It was another close contest for the Fellowship Christian School JV boys basketball team, which came up short at home on Feb. 2.
The Paladins came up short, 50-47, in a Region game played against Providence Christian Academy at Paladin Gym. It was Fellowship’s third straight loss, which were all by only a few points total.
Despite the loss, the Paladins own an 11-7 record.
The club is 3-5 in Region contests.
This contest was a freshman only game.
“We missed a three to tie it at the buzzer,” head coach Garret Thorington said. “It was an awesome game.”
Reid Harke was the leading scorer with 14 points, followed by Trevan Deckard with 12 points, and Jackson Thrasher with 10 points.
