FCS Posts Tourney Win to Extend Win Streak to Three Games

Fellowship Christian School’s seventh- and eighth-grade girls’ basketball team has extended its win streak to three games.

The FCS advanced to the finals of the 4th Annual Perimeter Middle School Basketball Tournament with a 35-32 win over The Galloway School on Jan. 25. It was the Lady Paladins’ third win in as many games at the two-day event.

With the victory, the FCS team earned the right to face Providence Christian Academy in the finals.

Lady Paladins Win Pair of Games at Perimeter Tournament

The seventh- and eighth-grade girls’ basketball team from Fellowship Christian School won two games on the opening day of the 4th Annual Perimeter Middle School Basketball Tournament.

Both contests were held at Perimeter Christian School in Johns Creek on Jan. 24.

The Lady Paladins defeated the host team, 29-20, in the second of two games. It was the team’s second victory in-a-row and third overall triumph of the season.

“The girls pressed well and hustled hard to pull off two wins in one day,” head coach Kimberly Nelson said. “I am so proud of them.”

Reese Thrasher led the team in scoring again with nine points. Lainey Bullard chipped in with eight points.
