Paladins Fall in Season Finale

The Fellowship Christian School eighth-grade boys basketball team has wrapped up its season.

On Jan. 20, the Paladins lost to Perimeter Christian School in the Perimeter Tournament, 40-34.

“We played really well in our last three games of the season,” head coach Jeff Padlo said.

Paladins Battle Hard, Fall to Saint Francis in Tourney Contest

It’s been a busy week for the Fellowship Christian School eighth-grade boys basketball team.

The team played its third game in as many nights on Jan. 19 to open the two-day Perimeter Christian Basketball Tournament.

The Paladins dropped a 42-38 decision to Saint Francis at Perimeter.

“It was another incredible game for us, but we lost,” head coach Jeff Padlo said. “We played two great games in-a-row. We play again Saturday. It’s single-elimination Saturday.”

Paladins Fall to King’s Academy on Road

The Fellowship Christian School eighth-grade boys basketball team traveled to Woodstock for a match-up with King’s Academy on Jan. 18.

In its second contest in as many nights, the Paladins dropped a 49-44 decision in a non-league game.

“It was a great game,” head coach Jeff Padlo said. “Both teams fought hard until the end.”

The FCS team has two regular-season games left, including a pair of contests at the Perimeter School Tournament on Jan. 19-20.
