FCS Team Details

Busy Day for FCS Wrestling Program

Jan. 25 was a very busy day for Fellowship Christian School’s wrestling program.

A range of wrestlers from Pre-K to 12^th grade competed at three different venues.

The varsity squad competed at Redskin Rumble at Social Circle High School, while for the middle school team participated in the Chattahoochee Conference Championships at Atlanta’s The Lovett School and Fellowship wrestlers beginning in pre-K competed at the Cobb County Youth Wrestling League, which included Pre-K to eighth-grade wrestlers.

The Fellowship team placed 15^th out of 17 teams at the Chattahoochee Conference Championships.

Fellowship Competes in Metro 10 League Championships; Two Wrestlers Place

The Fellowship Christian School middle school wrestling squad participated in the Metro 10 League Championships held on Jan. 15 at TK Volleyball in Roswell.

The Paladins were 10^th with 60 points.

In individual action at the tournament, Hardy Murfree (far left in picture with head coach Darryl Johnson), placed first at 185 pounds.

Thomas Ebrecht (middle of picture) claimed third place in the heavyweight division.

Paladins Win 15 of 24 Matches at Saint Francis Scramble

The Fellowship Christian School middle school wrestling squad competed against teams from Holly Innocents’ Episcopal School and Saint Francis at the Saint Francis Scramble in Roswell on Dec. 9.

Paladin wrestlers won 15 out of 24 matches wrestled at Saint Francis.

“Our wins were highlighted by a host of seventh graders,” head coach Darryl Johnson said.

Leading the pack for Fellowship were Hardy Murfree, 174; Elijah Bowerman, 105; Jacob Caldwell, 100, and Nathan Terrazas, 95.
