Paladins Fall in Playoff Opener

The season for the Fellowship Christian School middle school A “White” baseball team ended with a playoff loss in an unbelievable game.

The Paladins hosted The Walker School in the first round of the Metro 10 League Playoffs on April 16 at Roswell Area Park.

A total of 46 runs were scored during the 11-inning game that lasted two hours and 54 minutes. Walker hung on for a 24-22 victory.

Despite the loss, the Fellowship squad ended the season with a 4-6 record, including a 4-5 regular season.

Unfortunately, the FCS club ended the season on a five-game losing streak after a 4-1 start to the season from Feb. 19-March 18.

Paladins Fall in Extra Innings to Mount Vernon

The Fellowship Christian School middle school A “White” baseball team battled hard but came up short on April 13 in its first game back from Easter Break.

The Paladins dropped a 5-4 decision in extra innings to The Mount Vernon School at Roswell Area Park. It was a Metro 10 League contest and Fellowship's regular-season finale.

“Tough game that we lost in extra innings,” head coach Rob Sobolewski said. “The playoffs start on Thursday [April 16] so we get a fresh start and can’t wait to compete.”

It was FCS' fourth straight loss. The Paladins finished the regular season with a 4-5 record overall.

Paladins Lose at Saint Francis

The Fellowship Christian School middle school A “White” baseball team suffered their third straight loss on March 26.

The Paladins dropped a Metro 10 League decision at Saint Francis.

Overall, the team owns a 4-4 record.
