Four Paladins Receive Post-Season Honors

Four players from the Fellowship Christian School boys’ varsity soccer team have received post-season accolades.

Seniors Harrison Daniels and Al Thompson were both selected for the All-Sub Region 5A Boys Soccer Team, while junior Will Gibby and Tate Greenwell received honorable-mention status.

Gibby collected three goals and four assists, while Greenwell finished with two goals.

The group helped the Paladins reach the state playoffs for the fifth consecutive season and for the 12^th time in program history.

The team ended the season with a 6-7 record.

Gibby Named DiVarsity Student-Athlete of Year; Peitsch Selected for All-Star Team

A pair of players from the Fellowship Christian School boys’ varsity soccer team have received post-season accolades.

Will Gibby has been named Class 1A Boys Student-Athlete of the Year by DiVarsity. Teammate Isaiah Peitsch has been selected for the DiVarsity All-Star Soccer Team.

Both Gibby and Peitsch will compete in the DiVarsity All-Star Game being held at Sprayberry High School in Marietta on May 17 in the boys’ match slated for 3:15 p.m.

FCS head coach Andy Trevers will serve on the coaching staff for the contest.

There are four total boys’ and girls’ contests at Sprayberry on May 17.

Post-Season Honors: Soccer Senior Al Thompson Receives Positive Athlete Award

Fellowship Christian School senior Al Thompson was recently selected as a Positive Athlete Award Winner, North Atlanta Region – Boys Soccer.

Thompson was selected from over 6,400 nominations by coaches, principals, athletics directors, and teachers for how athletes should O.P.E.R.A.T.E. – Optimistic, Puts Team First, Encouraging, Respectful, Admits Imperfections, True Heart for Others, Embraces Service.
