
Michael Rand, Director of Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis

Alma Mater: Bachelor of Science, Sport Management, University of Georgia.
Family: Rand resides in Marietta, Ga., with his wife, Meredith, and their three children, Evan, Wyatt, and Caroline. The family belongs to St. Peter and St. Paul Episcopal Church in Marietta.
Career awards, accomplishments, highlights: A native Atlantan, Rand has worked in the tennis industry for 24 years. He is the owner and director of Rand Tennis, Inc., a tennis management company. As a head tennis professional, Rand has helped tennis players of all ages grow their games and love of the sport. He’s coached many junior and adult ALTA/USTA teams, given private lessons, held clinics and summer camps, and hosted/facilitated getaway weekends. He has developed a strong rapport with his clients and sent over 50 tennis teams to City Championships.
Coaching philosophy: “I am eager to begin a new chapter on the tennis courts of FCS -- striving to win while also imparting the Christ-like characteristics of teamwork and sportsmanship.”
