Fellowship Finishes Season at Second Day of Metro 10 Track & Field Meet
The Fellowship Christian School middle school track & field team competed in second day of the Metro 10 Track & Field Championships (running events) held on April 20 at Mount Paran Christian School.
“We ended the season by participating in the Metro 10 Championships,” head coach Joel Hazard said. “The team had a great showing as many achieved personal records, were able to ribbon, or medal in their events.”
Notable finishes on April 20 included:
- Asher Titus, Elijah Hazard, Jacob Caldwell and Liam Flurry placed third in the four by 100 relay.
- Liam Flurry – third in the 100-meter dash
- Jacob Caldwell – fourth in the 400-meter run.
Mary Bennett – fifth in the hurdles.- Asher Titus – fifth in the 200-meter run.
- Rome White – fifth in the 800-meter run.
- Braden Crenshaw – sixth in the 1,600-meter run.
- Sophia Loeffel – seventh in the 200-meter run.
“Congratulations to the team for a great season,” Hazard said. “The coaches will miss the eighth graders who will move on to the high school next year but are excited for the rest of the team to return next season. A special thanks to Coach Harrison, Coach Greaves, Coach Fickley and Coach Williams on a great season.”
