Tiebreaker Helps FCS Finish Second in Metro 10 League Championships
Fellowship Christian School’s middle school boys golf team competed in the Metro 10 League Championships at Steel Canyon Golf Club in Sandy Springs on Oct. 11.

“Our top four boys played against the top four boys of 11 other schools,” head coach Matt Theodoras said. “We took home the second-place trophy just two strokes behind Whitefield. We had a 105.”
Gage Marcus led Fellowship with a plus-3, followed closely by Nolan Drost at plus-4, and Jax Sledd at plus-5.
Fellowship was tied for second at 105 with Perimeter. Per the Metro 10 rules, the tiebreaker was the fourth players’ score. Jonathan Budnick clinched second for the Paladins with a plus-7 to a plus-13 for the other teams’ fourth player.
“Gage and Nolan both shot two birdies each with several other birdie attempts that lipped out,” Theodoras said. “The boys had an awesome day, and I couldn’t be prouder of them.”
