Season-Ending Victory: Paladins Post Road Win at Fannin County

The Fellowship Christian School JV baseball team finished the season on a winning note.

In Blue Ridge on April 1, the Paladins posted a 3-2 victory in eight innings over Fannin County High School. It was a non-Region contest.

It was the third win in-a-row for Fellowship, which went 9-3 over the last 12 games to finish the 2026 season with a 13-8 overall record.

The Paladins scored one run in the third to tie the game at 1-1 and took a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth. Fannin County tied it in the bottom of the sixth with a run. Fannin County scored the game’s first run in the first inning.

Fellowship finished with six hits as a team. Sophomore Gus Town led FCS with two hits and one double and knocked in one run. Eighth-grader Owen Davis registered one hit and one RBI, while freshman Colten Steele and sophomores Johnson Buice and Hudson Withers all recorded one hit.

Town started and went two innings (four strikeouts, three hits and one run), and Withers then pitched three scoreless and hitless innings with nine strikeouts. Freshman Liam Bauer came on next in relief before freshman Palmer Haslam came in for two innings. He wound up as the winning pitcher as he allowed two hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Davis earned the save with one walk and one strikeout in the bottom of the eighth.

Doubleheader Sweep: Paladins Win Pair at 4A Centennial

The Fellowship Christian School JV baseball team claimed both games of a non-Region doubleheader hosted by 4A Centennial High School.

The Paladins posted a 5-3 victory in the second game in Roswell.

Freshman Rush Statham collected two hits and one RBI for Fellowship, which had five hits as a team.

Sophomore Johnson Buice collected one hit – a double – and sophomore Hudson Withers knocked in one run. Freshmen Cooper Rutherford and Isaiah Terrazas each collected a hit.

FCS took a 4-0 lead through three innings and added its final run in the sixth to take a 5-1 lead. The Knights scored once in the fifth and two more times in the sixth.

Withers fanned nine batters over the first five innings and picked up the win. He allowed five hits, one walk and just one run. Freshman Liam Bauer threw two innings in relief and sophomore Gus Town tossed one inning.

Fellowship owns a 12-8 record overall and closes out the season on April 1 at Fannin County High School in Blueridge.

Haslam Pitches FCS past 4A Knights

Freshman Palmer Haslam threw a two-hit, complete-game shutout victory as the Fellowship Christian School JV baseball team opened a doubleheader with a triumph.

The Paladins posted an 11-0 win at 4A Centennial High School to snap a three-game losing streak and pick up its 11^th victory of the season.

Haslam also helped his cause at the plate. He picked up two hits and drove in a team-high four runs.

As a team, the Paladins registered seven hits.

Freshman Rush Statham, who shared the squad lead with Haslam with two hits, drove home one run. Sophomore Colton Reid smacked a double and recorded one RBI, while freshman Colten Steele added one hit and one RBI. Sophomore Johnson Buice’s lone hit was a double, and sophomore Hudson Withers registered on RBI.

The Paladins, who improved to 11-8 overall with the win, scored four runs in the first and fifth innings, two times in the sixth and once in the fourth.
