Paladins Capture Game One of Doubleheader
The Fellowship Christian School JV baseball team began a doubleheader with 3A Gilmer High School on March 22.

At Winchester Field at Paladin Park, the Paladins posted a 12-3 win. It was the second of three contests held at Winchester Field on the day as the varsity squad blanked Saint Francis, 10-0, to begin the day.
Sean Stephenson led the FCS JV team with two doubles, three hits and four RBIs. The Paladins finished with seven hits as a team, including one apiece by Will Bracken, Braden Burroughs, Mason Mosier and Thomas Newkirk.
Burrough belted a triple and drove in three runs. Griffin Lugar, who had four steals, and Austin Turner each drove in one run. Bracken belted one double.
The game lasted 4½ innings. Eli Latora started and picked up the win on the mound. He allowed two hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Andrew Ashworth threw two innings of hitless relief (one run allowed). Mosier tossed the final inning.
FCS improved to 4-6-3 overall with the win.
The team is unbeaten in its last four contests (3-0-1).
