Paladins Fall in Season Finale

The Fellowship Christian School JV baseball team ended the 2024 season with a loss.

The team dropped a 10-2 decision to Fannin County High School at Winchester Field at Paladin Park on April 17.

Fellowship (8-10 overall) finished the game with six hits and plated one run in each of the second and seventh innings.

Eighth-grader Liam Hilton led FCS with one hit and one RBI. Eighth-grader Braden Burroughs, freshman Coe Puckett, sophomore Andrew Ashworth and junior Colby Stock collected one hit apiece.

Seven pitchers threw one inning apiece for the Paladins.

Fannin County scored twice in the first, four times in fourth and twice in each of the sixth and seventh innings.

Paladins Fall at Pickens High School

The Fellowship Christian School JV boys baseball team dropped a road game on March 27.

The Paladins traveled to Jasper and lost 10-0 to 3A Pickens High School.

Eighth-grader Braden Burroughs collected the lone hot for FCS.

The Paladins used three pitchers (freshman Dylan Ivkovich, one inning; Burroughs, three innings, and eighth-grader Will Bracken, 2/3 of an inning). Ivkovich started and took the loss.

FCS Falls at Campbell High School

The Fellowship Christian School JV baseball team traveled to Smyrna to take on 7A Campbell High School.

The Paladins came up a little short, 13-3. It was a non-league match-up.

Sophomores Griffin Lugar and Sean Stephenson, and junior Colby Stock all collected one hit. Stephenson belted a double and drove in two runs. Freshman Davis Ferguson knocked in one run.

The Paladins used three pitchers – eighth-grader Liam Hilton (2 1/3 innings), Lugar (1 2/3 innings) and Allstair Swiggett (2/3 of an inning).
