Another Championship: MS Boys Lacrosse Team

For the second consecutive season the middle school boys lacrosse team finished with an undefeated record and a league championship.

The Paladins posted a 12-1 victory over The Mount Vernon School at Bob Lord Field in the championship game of the Metro 10 League Playoffs.

“So proud of these boys,” head coach Josh Gettler said. “From the top down these kids got a lot better and their lacrosse IQ increased dramatically. It was so fun to coach such a talented group of athletes. We now have back-to-back championships with a possible three-peat next year.”

Over the past two seasons, the Fellowship middle school lacrosse program is 26-0-1.

This year’s team set a school record for the most victories in a season with 14 victories. The club went 14-0 this year and 12-0-1 last year.

On to the Championship Game: Paladins Beat Walker

The middle school boys lacrosse team from Fellowship Christian School has an opportunity to win its second consecutive Metro 10 League Championship.

The undefeated Paladins defeated The Walker School, 14-2, in the semifinals of the Metro 10 League Playoffs at Bob Lord Field on April 24.

With the victory, FCS improved to 14-0. This year’s team holds the school record for most wins in a season.

The previous record was held by the 2023 team that finished 12-0-1 and won the Metro 10 League Championship.

The middle school boys lacrosse program has not lost a game since the 2022 season.

“I believe it’s a record for most goals in a season, and fewest allowed too,” head coach Josh Gettler said. “The boys have had a great season. But we have one more game left to win.”

The Paladins have scored 173 goals, including one for a forfeit victory, and have allowed just 24 tallies this season.

FCS received a first-round bye.

Undefeated Regular Season: Paladins Down Walker

The middle school boys lacrosse team from Fellowship Christian School has finished with unbeaten in the regular season.

The Paladins posted a 10-0 win over The Walker School at Bob Lord Field in the regular-season finale. It was a Metro 10 League game.

With the win, the Paladins improved to 12-0.
