Paladins Fall in Playoff Opener

The Middle School "Blue" baseball team dropped an 18-3 decision at Whitefield Academy to open the Metro 10 League Playoffs in Mableton on April 15.

Fellowship ended the season with a 3-8 record.

Paladins Fall in Heartbreaker to Saint Francis

The Fellowship Christian School middle school B “Blue” baseball team fell 12-11 at Saint Francis on March 25. It was the team’s regular-season finale.

The Knights pulled ahead with a run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

“It was a heartbreaker,” head coach Rocky Moore said. “We battled back, had our best closer in, and made an error throwing from right to first.”

Assistant coach Ryan Lea added: “Growing pains. But they have improved a ton.

With the playoffs on the horizon, we need to finish strong.”

Paladin Rally Come Up Short, Team Falls at Mt. Bethel

The Fellowship Christian School middle school B “Blue” baseball team rallied from a six-run deficit but wound up dropping a slugfest.

The Paladins fell 12-10 at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy on March 23 in a Metro 10 League contest played in Marietta.

The Paladins accumulated 14 hits in the game. Jo Hancock, Hudson Lea and Wesley Moore each drove in two runs for FCS. Lea collected three hits.

Hudson Harrell, Isaac Davis, Zach Hilton, and Leo Sumpter each collected multiple hits for Fellowship. Hilton stole two bases.

The Paladins are now 3-6 overall.
